McCain Suspends Campaign, Obama Wants Debate

Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain announced Wednesday that he is suspending his campaign to return to Washington and focus on the “historic” crisis facing the U.S. economy.
Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama said at a news conference later Wednesday that he and McCain had spoken by phone and had agreed to issue a joint statement about shared principles in the approach to resolving the economic crisis.
But he disagreed with McCains call for postponing Fridays first presidential debate in Oxford, Mississippi.
“Its my belief that this is exactly the time when the American people need to hear from the person will be the next president,” Obama said. “It is going to be part of the presidents job to deal with more than one thing at once. Its more important than ever to present ourselves to the American people.”
Regarding McCains call to join him in Washington to help participate in the debate over the economic recovery plan, Obama said, “If I can be helpful then Im prepared to be anywhere, any time … [I] dont want to infuse Capitol Hill with presidential politics.”
Announcing his decision to suspend his campaign, McCain said, “I am calling on the president to convene a meeting with the leadership from both houses of Congress, including Sen. Obama and myself. It is time for both parties to come together to solve this problem.”

He sure knows how to treat the lowly masses of this country - our great America. He wants to give everyone a plastic medical card - and guess what. If you feel sick and arent sure how critical it might be, he wants you to go to Walmart and get all better. Isnt that nice? I highly doubt youll see Johns face at a Walmart getting his various cancers taken care of. You see that is because John McCain thinks Americans are complete idiots.

He thinks you are going to vote him into office and to solve our health care crisis (yess, its a crisis) hes going to send you to Walmart where you will find waiting for you (without a single person in line in front of you) a doctor and a pharmacist.
Isnt that nice.
Okay, Id like to see what GENIUS ideas he has in mind for us in his economic recovery package.
I feel for the military veterans coming back from the Iraq and Afghanistan war zones as he has proposed giving them the same care as the rest of America. I do believe John McCain wants to kill us all. He doesnt realize that is what he is doing because he lives in the lap of luxury. You know. Let em eat cake to the rest of us, but for him, hes MORE than taken care of — thats why no matter what he says or who he brings around him, he doesnt get it and with that temper of his, no one is going to bother to cross him and tell him what reality is like. What Americans REALLY need.
